Hi Guys,

I got an "issue" that I dont think is normal where when i get in my car for the first time in the morning the RPMs will shoot to 1.5 then almost instantly blip up to almost 2k RPM and come back down right away. I will post a video link soon show what I mean bc trying to describe this any further doesnt seem possible.

I have never seen behavior like this in any of my other cars so Im curious.

Common for the TSX. As with just about everything in electronic engine control now, I think it's emissions related. Try it with and without the auto climate control switched on when you start it; I think it might have something to do with that too.

Same thing happens with my TSX wagon. It's normal.

I think its normal. But, I just started mine after sitting since Sunday and it was smooth and nowhere near 2k rpms.

l have a 12 wagon with 7k miles now and never had this issue occur... even with auto climate on when starting. 2k rpm sounds bit too high idle for engine to just sit there and not do anything...
