First audm cu2 with usdm tsx 09-10 ecu

hey guys, as you all know that the flashpro is only available to the 09-10 TSX atm and cannot be used on any other model. Well we took up the challenge here in Western Australia and have successfully installed an ECU from the 09-10 TSX into our 08 Honda Accord Euro CU2 and had it tuned by Joel from Driven Crazy Singapore ( http://www.drivencrazy.com.sg/ ). If any Australians are keen on this mod then Joel has the Flashpro + ECU ready to go. Tell him that Ray from Perth told you to contact him. he will instruct you how to sync the immobilizer with your current key so it will save you a trip down to honda. The only problem we had with the ecu is its throwing unknown codes. the car runs fine but CEL is up. Joel is in the middle of working that code out with hondata and will get back to me with a solution soon. We tuned the car with RSP manifold, SRI w/K&N filter, 2.5'' Custom Catback Exhaust, and the stock 68mm TB. Wish we couldve done a tune with the RV6 PCD though. Will be installing the PCD tonight and hopefully go for a dyno run some time soon.

AT THE HUBS READING.

I am a little surprised though, the torque line has the same up and down that mine did. Maybe just a characteristic of the motor I suppose.

we hit 200hp when the tuner was playing around with it because it was his first time tuning a CU2. The engine started to knock though so he changed it again until it was safe to run. we maxed out at 188hp and 215nm without it knocking. we would have seen better numbers if we had the PCD installed.

With just the takeda and the pcd we hit 200 on the dyno, but we had knock also. The shop was only able to pull 194 at the wheels. This was 102 F outside though...

With the intake mani and the pcd I imagine you being a real solid 200+

Does that mean, after your tuner sort out all the little issues, we will still need to get a USDM ecu to match with the flashpro? Or we can just flashpro the AUDM ecu after its sorted??

Yes you will still need to get the USDM ecu for AUDM cars. There is no flashpro for AUDM CU2s yet as the market here isnt as big as the states. The only problem is the unknown code that appears and we are in the process of working it out.

How much is the USDM ecu if you don't mind me asking?

hi guys

this is joel, and i tuned "fn 2 awsum"'s car. i do not think it will be feasible to have the flashpro compatible with the AUDM ECU as the market isn't quite as big as Hondata would like it to be.

send me any questions you might have and i will be glad to answer them.

When you say it's not feasible, you mean it's not profitable for Hondata to have a ready version? But it can be adopted onto a AuDM euro by further tuning of what Hondata provided for USDM euro.....?

largely because they do not have the AUDM car over there, it is difficult to do any testing on the car. like for example, we have a couple codes now on the car which we need to resolve, which hondata is helping out now.

another thing is that there could be 5-6 variants of ecu codes which came with the AUDM cars, and hondata might not have the original codes thus unable to again test and support the ecu.

the best solution now would be to use a USDM ECU and lock the US TSX flashpro to the car and tune. but after all the bugs has been ironed out.

i hope the new software will allow that.
