Thanks man...wheels are 19x8.5 ET40 + 5mm spacers front and 19x9.0 ET41 +15mm spacers rear.

Front needed 5mm to clear the brakes
but at the rear, had to go with this option to give me flexibility to revert back to a more normal look when cops in melbourne decides to give trouble

This, and what sort of drop do you have? Coilovers? Looks pretty low for springs. Great looking ride.

yeah...effective offset at rear will be +26 which surprised me as well how low the car can take so next set of wheel will be a concave one woot!!!

here's a closer look on the fender, basically, i only rolled them and thats not even a full flat roll. Not enough b@lls with paint cracking worries :P

I've only got a simple setup on the audio:
Front : Crescendo Opus 8.6 splits
2 x Consonance amps (4 and 2 channel each) - they are the same as Tru-Tech C7s but branded as Consonance.
1 x 10 inch Crescendo Etude 2.1 Subwoofer in custom enclosure.
1 x Audison BitOne sound processor

thats about it. Here's the tweeter position:

YO!! thanks man. I dont know exactly how much drop ive got from stock height. Im guessing around 50-60mm drop at rear and around 60-70mm drop at the front.

why does the rear look off? as if its turned out to the right. is it staggered weird or is it just something to do with the angle of the photo? otherwise, sexy car so you added tweeters on the front doors?

+26 gives me so much hope LOL, time to go back to the drawing board. Wonder how 19x9.5 +26 would work tho. Thats crazy for a half roll only tho.

i doubt it will take 9 +26. From the way it is now, i think the max it will go is 19x8.5 +33 max or if you want 19x9 then maybe +40 offset will be flush.

of course you can go more if you want the wheels to poke out more

Thanks

That got me panicking as well. But nah, its just the angle of the picture, wheels are dead straight haha

i replaced the stock tweeters with aftermarket ones and had to realign them to get the right angle

Yup that is correct...LM9s. Thanks man

Back to drawing board it is! I never thought this will take below +30 too. with 9.5, i used to have 20x9.5 ET+35. didnt fit very well though. Here's a pic of it:

When i had those 20s, they were still on stock springs lol. wheels were poking so badly i couldnt lower the car in terrible fear of wrecking my fenders lol. ya man...i too prefer the setup now

im using 245/35/19 all round right now. Had 235/35/19 a few weeks ago buy the load rating is completely off the AUDM spec of 98Y. so i went up 1 size to get closer to 98.

At current height, i've got some rubbing issues at the front but not the rear. Gonna raise the front probably another 5-10mm to give it some play at full lock. not ideal but a wrecked fender is equally not ideal as well :p

BTW jeroplex, what wheels are you using? they look great as well man. Im guessing BBS LM?

Thanks for sharing the additional pictures and information. I'm glad to see someone has tried to track the car, be it road course or auto-x. With the way the steering and suspension is set up, even from the factory, and improved chassis rigidity, I think this platform has a lot of potential around the turns.

My pleasure man. good things are meant to be shared to everyone aren't they?

Feedback on track: this was my 1st run on track with the cu2 with a completely stock specification. First impression was good. I have the auto version (sadly) but the triptronic box was way beyond what i expected from an auto. In "S" mode, it holds the gear exactly where u want it without shifting up or down which is a very big plus. Up and down shifts are good as well. Only complain is it doesnt want to shift to 1st in low corners (<50km/h) which is a bit of a bugger when we really need those revs due to the nature of our engine.

Understeer is very very obvious but a bit of lift off and it gains grip immediately again. I came from an all wheel drive subaru impreza and my view on this is definitely a big bias because in the 4wd, i can go full throttle almost at mid corner but fwd is sth i need to get acustomed with for now.

Overall, its pretty friendly on tyres and the brakes held up pretty well too. Not surprising seeing the HUGE size caliper and discs from stock trim.

Very very happy and way beyond expectation. Now that i have coils and a few chasis stiffening mods coming up, I will be hitting the track again sometime nx year with some semis and lightweight wheels to see what are the gains. No engine mods in the pipeline for now. Dont see much point trying to make a luxurious car sound like a track weapon.

thats my 2c anyways.

i just feel like shedding tears of joy now! LOL. i think im floating with the clouds right now :P

not much planned for the car for now actually. possible extras might be the modulo kit and a BBK. that would probably be it. the boys in blue in Melbourne especially are on a crackdown on modded cars. Im sh#itting my pants everytime i see them within 10m of my car. you guys in the states are way "free'er" in mods i think

Oh OH ....i've got the spc camber kit sitting in my room too. Just cant be bothered installing them.

This is a skill man..scouting modded CU2s. So hard to find info on them. Most of my mods are trial and error and so far im lucky to have gotten them almost correct with some minor tweaking :P

There is no such thing as snow here in Australia... (unless you go to the mountains but even then, not all of the snow is real lol.

Edit: And damn Yung, your car is so cleannnn! I haven't washed it in over a week cause the stupid weather man says it's going to ran but it only rained once last week.. Also, I don't see any stone chips or anything?? I've got heaps!!

Edit 2: What are your dampers set at Yung? Front and rears.
