Help With Navigation code

Hello guys.

I bought my car a month ago from a website coparts. I receive the car and repaired completely. Now Im having the common problem of the codes for radio and navigation. Thanks to this forum, I found how to get the radio code and It works perfectly. I contacted the acura through a friend of a friend, and he got me the 5 digits code for the radio.

Now, im dealing with the issue of the navigation that its requesting me a 4 digits code. Do I need to call again Acura to get that code? For me its hard because im outside the USA... my dealer here in my country they dont even know how to get the code of the radio .

How do I get that 4 digits code? what do I need to do?

thanks in advance for the help

If you don't have the card with the serial number for the unit (delivered when the car was new) you can either check the DVD drive in the trunk for a sticker with the same serial number or you will have to pull the DVD unit out and find the sticker. You can't get the number without the serial number of the navigation/DVD unit. Then do what you did @ Acura HQ to get the unlock code for the navigation unit.
