Question How to remove rear seat to run sub wire???

Hey gang,

I am trying to run my amp power and remote wires back to my trunk but dont know how to remove the lower seats to get into the trunk area. I am cutting it close on wire length so I need the most direct path. Any ideas or methods which do or do not require seat removal are welcomed. Please help!!

I have scanned 46 of the 108 pages of posts and can't find a post that helps. Forgive me if I missed...

Thanx

There's a 10mm bolt you need to remove first. Once removed, lift the left and right seat corner up until you hear a pop. Then remove the seat.

Great pics!! Thanks. Any special technique needed for reinstall or will it "pop" back in place too?

I just looked at my car and now I realize that the side bolsters(the part that doesnt fold down) will also be in the way. Ideas?

Thanks again, it's truly appreciated.

Once the seat bottom is off, youll see a bolt on the bottom holding the Side bolsters onto the car, undo that bolt (also 10mm) and then push the entire side bolster upwards, it pops right out.

And nope, both panels just pop right back in.

Thanks for all the help guys!! You just made this project a lot easier, I was going nuts trying to figure it out without a manual.
