Glove box rattle?
At least that is where I think it's coming from. When I drive over a bump, it tends to come out.
Sounds like a metallic vibration. I've heard of the one coming from behind the NAVI, but my ears don't think that's it.
Anyone come across one on the right side, potentially from the glove box?
Thanks.

I just hit over 5000 miles and started to notice this as well. I thought it was something in the glove box so I emptied it out with same results. If I leave the box open, no rattles.

Nothing. I took everything out.

Yep, that's it.
It was pretty quiet when I left it open.
I'll take a peak and see what the deal is once the heat breaks around here. If it is in fact coming from there, it's shouldn't be too dificult to identify and fix.

Certainly not that. Unless you're driving on a really poorly paved road, your car shouldn't be rattling.
If that can be reproduced, I'd take that in. That would drive me nuts.

I had same issue. I used the rubber feet that are used on lamps etc. to put on base when putting on tables. I installed on glove box door on upper corners (2). This took slack out of box & stopped the rattleing.

Ah... I have some of those I could try. I'll have to check it there is any slack in the door when it closes. Considering it seems to only make those noises when the door is closed... This could be a very simply fix.
Thanks!

Considering when/how it happens, I'm a bit skeptical that it will work. I just need to crawl under there and see what's going on. It could be the latch... Who knows...

had this issue for a long time, took to dealer 3 times. finally fixed myself by taking off glovebox, and examining the u-shaped post that the clasp holds onto when shut. Found that there are two screws holding it, one was half out. Screwed in, has not rattled in over a year, good luck!!!

I also had the same problem and brought my car into the dealer and they fixed it. They also fixed a clicking noise from the trunk by taking out the back seat and welding some stuff. I noticed that some dealers have a precision team award next to their name (when u do a dealer search at acura's website) so i made sure to bring it to one that had it.

I'm heading to the dealer tonight to get the alignment checked out, so I'll have them investigate this also.
$10 they can't figure it out. :shakehead

Welp... The car is done... No word on if this was fixed. But my $10 bet remains.
Turns out the alignment is fine???!!! They said it was due to tire pressure. I'm too tired to argue with these people... Ugh.
We'll see how it drives.

Glove Box Rattle
My glove box rattled on the way home from the dealer with only 20 miles on it. I am heading back tomorrow to finish detailing and get that rattle fixed. Thanks for the clues as to what the noise might be.

It's fixed.
The service sheet says they tighened the latches and screws and insulated around the glove box. I haven't poked around to see exactly what they did, but the rattle is gone.
