My 2005 "Project" TSX
Hello fellow AZiners,
Just wanted to share a tidbit about the 1G I bought last week
I found an 05 silver automatic on Craigslist with 198,200 listed for $2000. It needed a right front wheel bearing ($120 for the hub kit from RockAuto), power steering pump ($83 from AutoZone), two outer tie rod ends ($25 each from NAPA) and window master switch ($43 from Ebay). Talked the guy down to $1900 and bit on it. I ended up replacing both wheel hubs along with everything else noted above. Would y'all consider that a pretty good deal??
I'm currently using it as a second car to mess around with in addition to my TL-S, and for Uber driving since I figured I'd get somewhat of an ROI out of it. The K-24 runs smoothly and the tranny shifts really nicely. However, I think the front upper ball joint is going bad because I can hear and feel a pretty noticeable "clunk" when I turn the wheel all the way to the right. The clear coat is also sun damaged pretty badly behind the C-pillars on both sides of the car.
Should I keep this beast around for a while, or would there be a pretty good market for one of these with the aforementioned mileage? I figured I could fetch at least $4000 once everything is completely done.

Null and proud of it
You did pretty well. If it wasn't for the damage, I'd say it's worth atleast $4K, to me atleast...
I'd say replace the ball joints, respray the c-pillars and enjoy the ride! Any pics?
