O-rings for Both Power Steering Hoses

The power steering pump on my 2007 Acura TSX is leaking from the O-rings from both hoses. I need help finding the O-rings for both hoses. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Discharge hose (Item 4) o-ring (Item 23): https://www.acurapartsforless.com/v-...sis--p-s-lines
There are two listings for Item 23 o-ring. Either should work

Suction hose fitting (Item 2) o-ring (Item 11): https://www.acurapartsforless.com/v-...ne--p-s-pump-2

Reorge, thanks for the help. I was having difficulty finding the "P.S. Lines for 2007 Acura TSX SEDAN" section for the discharge hose. I think this is called the "jump outlet hose" also?

The inlet joint o-rings was easier to find.

You are a life saved and thanks.

Power steering pump

By any chance was your car making any noises because of the pump? I’m interested in a TSX for sale and supposedly it just needs a new power steering pump. The guy said it whines in the morning but goes away after driving it?

“any chance was your car making any noises because of the pump?” yes the pump make noises at very specific times when it is under load. That excessive load time is while turning the wheel in any direction.

You can test this by starting the vehicle and turning the steering wheel all the way to one direction holding it there aggressively and you should hear a very distinct sound.

“The guy said it whines in the morning but goes away after driving it?” this is a terrible diagnoses for the following reasons. The sound is audible at low traveling speeds and only when you place load on the pump while turning. If traveling in a straight line at any speed you will not hear anything. So the duration of time traveling or time in operation have no bearings on the problem.

I created a video on how to replace the two O-rings that commonly fail. It is an easy 15 minutes or less process. Warning it does not guarantee to repair a leak. If the pump itself has failed internally it will also leak fluid. I discovered that after repairing this. It had all the signs of leaking from both locations and it is possible to have multiple failures at once such as the car in this video. In the end, the pump needed to be rebuilt or replaced and both should yield the same result. The former cost around $20 USD and 2.5 hours of labor the latter $160 - $212 USD and 30 minutes or less of labor. I would check to see if the o-rings have failed first before rebuilding or replacing the pump.

This is the video I have created to attempt to solve this problem. Best of luck.

That looks pretty straightforward, thanks for sharing. Fwiw, diluted simple green is an excellent degreaser/cleaner and has a nice minty scent. It won't leave any residue either unlike some degreasers.
