The 2010 TSX does have heated mirrors. You have to use the rear defroster to turn them on. From the manual:
The outside mirrors are heated to remove fog and frost. With the ignition switch in the ON (II) position, turn on the heaters by pressing the rear window defogger button. The indicator in the button comes on as a reminder. Press the button again to turn the heaters and the defogger off. Also the gas cap is locked as long as the drivers side door is locked. |

I think the new TSX is more sporty because while it's only slightly larger, you sit lower and there's more torque. The old TSX featured round, bubble shapes. The new TSX is more aggressive looking, inside and out.

Where are the "round, bubble shapes" on the 1st gen TSX? Seriously.

The side profile roofline of the 1G has a more uniform arch, the 2G has more defined hard edges particularly over the wheel wells, along the belt line intersecting the door handles ending at the trunk lid and down the rear edges. On the interior the 1G has a prominant round cover over gauge cluster and the stereo/AC controls sit within a rounded bulge that projects up from the dashboard. The interior of the 2G TSX has many more hard creases, in the faux aluminum trim, in the bulk of the plastic dashboard and prominantly around the hand brake. Overall the experience of the 1G is one of being surrounded by roundness when compared with the 2G.

i personally love the look of the 1st gen and 2nd tsx. I dont want to get into another one of these arguments again but the 2nd gen tsx does have more lines to it in general as well as a wide body. This might be part of the reason why Hanga Pilko is saying the 1st gen is more "roundy."
That being said, I really do love the designs of both generation TSXs.

I like the look of the 1G TSX a lot. Though rounded, the design arguably cleaner than the 2G TSX, but definately not more aggressive, which is what I associate with looking sporty. I disagree with Bob A's assertion that the 2G is less sporty. Trivial I know, but I like to analyze design
