Comptech Front Strut Bar
Picked this up used from TSX.Fury. I haven't heard anything definitive
about these and I wasn't expecting much more than dressup, it does change the car quite a bit. Overall feels better and tighter, quicker steering, but maybe
more oversteer.

Fury, did you note any difference after taking it off?
The tie wrap on the A/C line is because the hose bracket interferes
slightly with the brace to the cowl, I have to grind down the hose bracket
at work.
It looks like the stock bar will fit our '04 accord cpe.

It looks like you forgot step #5 during the installation to slide the rubber sleeve over the metal connector on the PS hose. There really shouldn't be any interference with any hoses to the strut bar. Your zip tie on the PS line will eventually rub the finsh off the bar. I have plenty of clearance on mine.
This is one of those "feel good" mod that doesn't really do anything as far as performance improvement over the stock bar. It looks damn good though...

Ok, thanks. It looks like a special hose bracket that I didn't get.
I was wondering, comptech wouldn't put something out that didn't
fit.
Are you sure you can't tell anything, one some twisties I run every
day, I feel the rear end coming around more.

Doesn't the Comptech bar brace the firewall? I'd think that might help brake feel.

Unless increased torsional stiffness up front increased the front traction,
making the rear feel looser.
I sometimes thought the comptech was a little too much rear bar,
I might try the progress. I heard progress is hollow and adjustable,
22mm OD. Torsional stiffness is a function of radius to the 4th power,
OD is most important, but hollow will lower the stiffness some compared
to the comptech bar, and it's adjustable.
