TSX Bluetooth and Tracfone

Just bought an 09 TSX for my wife. She has a Tracfone (Motorola 376g, I think). Anyone know how Bluetooth Tracfone's work with the car's Bluetooth/home link system? Tracfone has never submitted their phones to Home Link for testing.

Any bluetooth phone should be able to pair for calling use. However, you may not be able to do audio or music streaming since the phone has to be A2DP which I'm not sure if her's is.

The homelink has nothing to do with the phone. You just have to pair your garage door transmitter to the homelink system. i think you just hold down the desired button on your homelink untl it blinks then hold down your garage door remote until the blinking flashes quickly.

Wrong. The car owner's manual says that the phone must have "home link profile" in addition to having Bluetooth; and if you call the homelink tel. # they will tell you that Tracfone has not submitted the phones made for it to them for testing.

Since you seem to have all the answers already, why did you bother posting your question in the first place?

Like you said, you just bought the car. Your wife has the phone. Just go and try it and see if it works. What difference does it make if you ask the question on an online forum? :whyme:
