J Power camber kit?? is it good or bad??
Has anyone ever used or herd a jpower camber kit on their 09+ tsx? I'm getting for a good deal and don't wanna pass this offer...but if its bad then I won't get it.. I'm getting just the rear..

im awaiting reviews on the tsx as well. but for 8th gen accords, they've been getting pretty good reviews.

I'm running a set of Jpower 6pc and I've also had SPC and belive me there's no difference...

Those two listings dont really make sense to me. The second one looks like it includes the 3 arms and one ball joint for all 4 tires for a total of 16 components? The first listing says 3 arms each tire for just the rear, so a total of only 6 pieces. Yet the price is only $60 more for the second listing? I might email them, I might get these once I get my coilovers on depending on how much I end up dropping it.

So, J Power VS SPC.
No difference really? I'm really in need of a full camber kit - front and rear. But SPC shipped to me is $740 from Heeltoe and $650-$670 on eBay, I forgot. J Power = $300-ish. I'm trying to save money but scared of the quality. |
be careful, i was reading the j-power kit with teh front ball joints, the ball joints only go positive camber, not negative. (i think)

Ooo, good one Ed. I didn't notice that. I just checked and yeah, it's only for positive...
But I still want I know how 'good' J Power is. I could just get J Power rears and SPC ball points |
^ that's my plan. i don't know if i actually need the ball joints or not, if natural camber takes care of it then i guess i wont need them

On the 3G...you'll find posts all over AZ where I say they are awesome etc...just piece of metal and no difference...but after having had them for a year and tearing up some tires due to bad alignments because of these, I've changed my tune.
I assure you, the fronts, you'll be fine...they allow both negative and positive camber adjustment and do the job fine...but the 4 arm rear toe/camber arms....STAY AWAY...The bushings in them are total crap. I had bad alignments...the car was super squirrely and unpredictable to drive etc...come to find out, they bushings pushed 1/2 way out of their arms...PLUS, these 2 arm kits bring your wheel IN at the bottom, lessening your width...not usually our goal. I was warned, and I ignored it. Anyway, buyer beware...but from one frugal dude to another...get yourself some quality ones for the back. SPC upper arm or the eibach lowers. J. |

I need your opinion guys. My rears are about -4.5 but I need to run that to fit my wheels so should I just get 1 arm for the rears? I only want the rear arm so I can adjust it a bit when I want to. I was planning on just getting the 3 arm kit "just in case" I want/need to change it more than 1 degree.. but it's expensive $$. As for the fronts, I'll just go with SPC again. Do Eibach have them for the CU2/TSX? I want to make my fronts MORE negative. I'm not trying to fix up my camber to make it back to 0. |

That's right. If you have negative camber caused by lowering, you need to add in positive camber to correct it. Unless you are going to make a lifted TSX, you need positive adjustment.

Yeah, the SPC AND Jpower ones can both be oriented backward to ADD negative camber...only difference is that the jpower ones, once tightened do NOT press themselves in to where you can't rotate to do positive rather than negative...the SPC on, once you tighten the bolt down, they get pressed into place and you'd need one of those kits to unpress them to rotate to switch to negative/positive camber.

I bought the Jpower 6 piece rear and front ball joints a few weeks ago, but havent installed them yet. I read that chaqui74's response to them and he said that he's been running them no problem. Now I am second guessing them reading rockstar's posts. I really don't want to deal with big problems later on with them...

Well, to be honest, I'm just sharing my experience with them. The product itself is fine, but not the bushing material on the rear arms. Made my car scary to drive going quickly on turns...
BUT, maybe the dynamics of a 3G are different than another car, maybe the person that does the alignment not setting it properly made things worse...I don't want to scare anyone but after having been someone that is frugal on things...I will not go cheap on camber kits again. J. |

I ended up reselling mine on ebay...but for VERY cheap and with the recommendation that the person get the bushings replaced with a harder one. |
I read some people who have been running them for a year or more and no problems. Do you think it was the heat that did it possibly? We both have roughly the same summer weather, just trying to think of other ways that yours might have gone bad. Now I am really hesitant about keeping mine. Suspension is pretty important.

It could be, man...but I felt it immediately...installed it and already, was making a right turn and the rear of the car would get kinda squirrely on me (kinda wiggle)...thought maybe it was just the need for an alignment or the fact that the rear was lessening the track since you're bringing the bottom of the tire in...I kept them like that for a year...one day, I decided to take a closer look and see if my car felt confident and good to drive again with the oem rear bottom arms...popped them back in and everything made sense...the bad tire wear even after 4 alignments...the car feeling unstable, everything...the bushings were 1/2 pushed out on both sides.
I rocked NO camber kit for a while...and eventually opted for the SPC upper camber arms. Haven't looked back since. J. |

^^^that is front and upper rear arm...Marcus basically just agreed with me. And for $320 for the whole setup, not a bad deal either. AND it's ingall's...which is quality.
Both of those will allow you to run MORE or LESS camber...front goes shorter than the oem upper arm and front, depending on which way you orient the little slider thing, will do the same thing...allow for MORE negative camber. |
For the front I would not change anything if your goal is to correct (add more positive) camber. I would let the camber do what it does. After all , negative camber really doesn't have much of a downside if kept to a reasonable level. It would actually handle better with some negative.

He pictured the rear toe adjustment which is all you need for mild lowering to correct toe but not camber. The upgrade to that is to buy the camber and lateral arms giving you the 3 arm set.

Also, rockstar, did you buy these? The arms for the cu2/4th gen tl look a lot different I read around on the 8th gen accord forums and there were a lot of people saying they recommended them. I'm hoping the bushings are better quality in ours? They at least look a lot nicer. |

Alright, I have to but in cause my -2 camber has officially given my car the NASTY shakes and I'm looking to order a kit ASAP.... I'm running -2 camber on the rear. And honestly am NOT racing my car... So, I'm in the same boat that you are OPboarding & EUROnoob, I need help. I understand that SPC is the way to go but is worth shelling out SOO much extra money, if another product will do the same thing?!?!
