yea i'm thinking of going with a new set of rims that don't have any lip on them, but my contact is going to be out of the country til mid february and i was hoping to have some new shoes on by the time of the meet (feb 21st)..so we'll see what happens with that..but thank you for your input, very helpful!! i think i definitely like the no lip, it does make the rim look a lot bigger!

I'm not trying to do too much more to the car, just add back in some nice rims..doing the 5-lug would be too much work, but thanks for the offer on that!

as for the shift knob and ebrake, yea that's fine..i wasn't too worried about it..i don't remember how much the all-black shift knob was, so whatever you feel is fair..if you're around my work area on a saturday, then drop by..i would say thursday afternoon or saturday, since my boss will most likely be gone and don't have to worry about him saying anything..

and yea if you can't make it to the meet, if it happens on the 21st then definitely post some pics of the new rims! i like those that you posted up too! thanks again for the info and help!

hey quick question Vimal...how do you like your gunmetal wheels? i'm trying to decide on what to go with; ie. black with a chrome lip like before or go with a design like yours with no lip and whether or not to go go black or gunmetal..just looking for some insight..what color are your new rims? Will we get to see them if we do this Acurazine meet in February?

so everything is paid, just waiting for the package now..they're from ny so it may take awhile..but i'm hoping i can just unscrew the silver/cf and give that to you to paint and screw on the black one..

yes, leave the cf alone and paint the rest..and wanting to do the same with the shift knob as well..i'll get that order placed asap. thanks again man, and when the other shift knob comes in the i'll put that one on and give you the one with the cf.

aiite cool. i'm thinking of picking one up for myself again and then giving you the cf one to sand down and spray black so i can switch it up if i want to..but i'll go ahead and email them back and let them know i want to order and i'll let you know how much. or better yet, i'll get it for you since you're gonna repaint my e-brake and eventually the shift knob..is that a cool deal?
