I've got an appointment to finalize and purchase a 2010 Tech this coming Sunday. The excellent price was pre-negotiated over email directly with the Internet sales manager. It came down to the IS250 and the TSX for me, and for my taste there was no comparison in terms of a solid, firm suspension in the TSX, and the size of the car. The steering and suspension feel was *very* different than the 2009 TSX that I test drove early in the year.

If everything goes off right on Sunday I'll be bidding a sad farewell to the trusty Integra LS I've had since '98 and 165K miles... but the TSX really seems to me like a grown up version of the Integra. I know of the bugs in the 2009s but I'm crossing my fingers that everything goes well with this new 2010...

Looking forward to posting pictures soon.

I've been reading up on brake jobs and it seems a lot of people have trouble with removing the screws that hold the rotors in place. I've also read that these screws are not necessary, that they were put there during the car's assembly to help ease the process.

If the above is true, then my question is, would it be a good idea to remove the screws the next time I have my wheels off? The last time I had my wheels off I looked at the screws and they don't look like they're rusted or anything, and I'm hoping they'll come off easy. If they're not required, I figure it'd be better to get them off now while they're still removable, versus some time in the future when they'll be rusted or seized or whatever.

Thoughts?

BTW, I put on a set of new General Exclaim UHP tires a few weeks ago and have been dealing with "tire pull" ever since. The tire shop has been pretty helpful; they have replace 2/4 tires and the problem remains. The are willing to continue swapping Generals' but are suggesting that I jump ship and get 4 new, other brand tires. I'm trying to stay with the stock 18 size 235/45 so choices are a bit limited in my price range.

A week later the headlight had condensation so I popped the hood and adjusted the cap behind the hid bulb (it was loose and not exactly flush) and afterwards the bulb wouldn't light up. I saw that this bulb had died but I figured it was due to the condensation. I bought another pair and now the new bulb isn't lighting up at all. Before I go out and buy a new ballast should I be checking anything like a fuse or bad wire. All looks fine but the bulb just won't light up. I don't wanna get pulled over so I wanna fix this asap. Any help is appreciated.

It's that time of the year where I want to mod my car again. :)

Right now, I've been trying to really indecisive of should I buy the Weapon R Headers + Testpipe combo (which runs for aorund $650?), or would running TopSpeed Headers + Any Test pipe would almost has effective?

The reason so, is because I'm actually have a fabricator weld me a catback to muffler, and I know for a fact having him weld me a header would take forever and be expensive.
I've seen dyno's of the Weapon R combo, some were able to obtain 14-20whp. I couldn't find exactly what a TopSpeed Header + a Testpipe would yield? ( is that even possible, in addition to the flexpipe?)

I would like to get some feedback, because I know for a fact I would be able to save at least around $300 if I go for the TopSpeed + Testpipe.

But gains wise also might change my mind.

Thanks.
